My new KWA KP8 USP .45 unboxing

I just picked this up out at Poco Military and it seems like a pretty sweet pistol!

Did you like try to pretend you just opened it?

it was partially opened because it was the last one so it was sitting on top of the box in the glass cabinet, but to get to the hop up and loading tools it needed some more tearing!

I was at a toss-up between which I wanted... The USP .45 or the 1911, and I ended up going with the 1911 heh.

I've been pondering getting one, but are the sights interchangeable?

I can't actually read the manual, but from what I can see in the diagrams I'd say they are.

It's not really an unboxing if you've already opened it. A quick review, maybe, but you've obviously opened it already.

On another note, I have one of these as well, great little gun.

Sweet!

I'm tied between this and the 1911 MEU, but that definitely earns ponus points if it accepts the .45 match sights.

I had never opened it before, I just put the box down and opened it when I got in the door. Like I said it was the last one left and the store had it out not me.

In the diagrams it shows all the parts and the sights seem to be removable, I also like that this gun shoots hard!

It does... if you can find them. I asked KWA to ship me some USP parts (adjustable sight set was the main thing I wanted) and to clarify on compatibility - they did the clarification on compatibility and told me they'd go see if the parts were in stock. That was the last I ever heard from them, even after trying to contact them through 4 or 5 different methods through the internet.

i've owned both the kwa usp and the kjw 1911 meu and i have to say that the USP is much better. the only thing kjw has on the kwa is probably hop up consistency, but even if it is better than the kwa its only by a slight bit.
also, i dont know if its just my gun but my 1911 meu struggles to even fire 1.5 mags while my usp fires 2+ mags no problem.

I'll keep that in mind. I'm more partial to the 1911 platform as it's a real tried and true design and it suits my loadout better, but I really like the USP tactical .45 platform at the same time.
