WE M4 stock
I was dissassembling the stock on a WE M4 with a magpul ASAP (I think) sling adapter, and as I unscrewed it from the reciever a small metal brick fell out, about 2mm by 5mm, and i cant for the life of me figure out what it came from

That is the adapter piece that keeps the ASAP from rotating freely on your buffer tube, then your castle nut goes over it. There are 2 sizes for commercial and mil-spec stocks.
The top is RS whereas the bottom is airsoft.
