L96 trigger problem
Hi all, im having some problems related to the trigger assembly. Recently i have upgraded it to a zero trigger, this weekend after a round of shooting someting went wrong and i couldn't bolt the gun anymore.
After taking it apart i realized that the trigger piece that goes inside the cylinder - i dont know how to explain - is going loose every couple of shots. Does anybody know how to fix it? here is a pictre of the trigger piece i mentioned: update: the piece name is Spring Guide Stopper Last edited by marcusviniciuslm; July 7th, 2010 at 18:34.. |

Did you upgrade the spring guide also? If not, you should. The notches are made to hold onto a metal spring guide. The stock plastic/nylon one does not have the right shape and will be damaged very fast.
A zero trigger is usually the last part you want to install in a gun... |

hello, thanks for the reply.
Yes i did upgrade the spring guide, actually i changed every single internal part of this gun and the most expensive is the first to create a problem |

You could just make a shim that goes into the trigger guard, to keep it up, that way it would prevent the stopper to go down went you crank the bolt. This seems to be a common problem among those airsoft guns (L96) as it's not the first time I see this.

The spring guide stopper on my stock CA M24 sits a bit loose as it is, is normal, unsure of the Zero Trigger though. But, likely it's held in place by a screw, so try putting threadlocker on it annd let it cure for a day, see if that helps. There is a fair bit of vibration in spring rifles, so threadlocker is a must on most screws!

That pin isn't held with a screw in mechbox, as you have to slide it down to take the cylinder and bolt assembly out. Still some Loctite could hold it in place though, but you want to make sure you can still slide it down if you need, otherwise your internals will be enclosed forever XD.
