That should be fine as long as it doesn't have petroleum distillates or petroleum anything in it.

yea I don't think it does will check though when I am at CT
I hear a lot of people using just any "white grease" aka Lithium grease so thought this would be ok.... but you know us airsofters just like a second..or third...or 4th opinion ol

CT use to carry a white lithium grease in a tube. it works well but can gum up over time.
you can also try Permatex Ultra Slick Multi-Purpose Synthetic Grease: http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/brows....jsp?locale=en it's super lube |

The grease in a tube at CT is called Lith-Ease, tube is white & blue with some red, costs $5, found in the area where the garage door opener stuff is. It works well, but as Coachster said, it'll gum up after a while, but we're talking a year or more. But if you work on your guns a lot, adding upgrades or replacing broken parts, is best to clean all the old grease off if gummy and replace with fresh.

For the amount you need in an airsoft rifle, you can also hit the hobbyshop and buy high grade lithium or ceramic grease. I use the later and it is perfect.

I use the same stuff CDN_Stalker was describing, works nicely. I've only used it for 8 months, haven't noticed any gum ups but I clean and regrease my stuff at least once a month and/or after a game depending on how much I've been using them.

I Just went to go get some grease for my GBBR.
They didn't have any Ultra slick multi-purpose left so I took the Ultra slick White lithium grease. Its for metal on metal but it has petroleum distillates. Is it Ok or its not good?

Lithium grease
Nope. I wouldn't as there's a chance it'll find it's way to the top of your mags or the orings on and in the nozzle/floating valve. Get the multi purpose stuff.
