How to solve the problem of broken parts

so a while back my KJW glock 32C broke. the firing pin broke and i went looking for parts.

so i was told $48 for the part... wow. more then i want to spend considering, for now, i don't ever plan to get into airsoft.

so i kept trying to think how i could solve said problem and then it hit me, dremel!

it's not 100% perfect, but my glock is firing again! though it seems almost a bit under powered now. like it's not hitting deep enough.

thanks guys!

we'll see how long it lasts, hoping longer then the stock one as the stock appears to be cast aluminum. i used a computer heatsink base to make this part which was extruded so hopefully it will last a good while. if not another hour of dremel'ing and filing will solve that though i think my dremel is dying due to bad bearings

i've already done something similar, needed a specific plastic part that was proprietary, made a mold and poured epoxy in it. let it dry, and voil*.

Nice job, never thought of that. Maybe make another one but make the end a tad bit longer, it'll press the valve in a bit farther letting more gas out....... aka. more power.
