King Arms AK Gas Tube Optic Mount
im about to buy a King Arms AK Gas Tube Optic Mount for my TM AK, in the description it says "Modification is necessary for installation". i was wondering, do i really need to modify it and if so is something thats eazy to do. thanks

It's not "hard" but it is quite permanent (i.e., you won't be able to easily go back to a "normal AK").
What needs to be removed is the tube section in front of the rear sight block (on some models its a hollow half tube which allows a stick battery to fit, on the TM it's a long hexagonal shaft over which the original gas tube fits). You have to cut that clean off so it looks like this: You can compare to the original TM part You can unscrew and remove the metal hexagonal shaft, but the little arms that hold it in will probably have to be chopped off.
