Is this a good starter airsoft gun?
Ok, so recently me and my friends went airsofting for the first time at an airsoft place and we LOVED it! Only problem was we have crappy walmart and canadian tire guns and by the time we were done the guns were in pieces :P
So i went looking for a new gun and i found this http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/st...008000_425-8-4 Im looking for something relatively cheap but good, since i really dont have the money to go for the 400 dollar guns, i found out everything is metal except for the body and butt of the gun so thats obviously good and it will cost me 159.99..So im wonder if it will be a good buy, also the place i go is mainly CQB stuff.. |

Well firstly you can't order guns from the states or anywhere else in the world because they will get seized at customs. You have to buy within Canada.
Secondly, before we can help you regarding buying guns, you need to be age-verified. Also remember. You buy cheap, you get cheap.

Well first you should update your profile with your location. Secondly, look for Age Verifiers. They have a tag saying so under their name. They need to be around your location so that you can meet face to face and have your ID checked to make sure your atleast 18 years old.

Best bet friend is to contact a verifier in your area (if your 18+) and hold out for all the fun stuff that age verification has to offer you. Also you might want to think about saving some $ airsoft isn't a cheap sport, getting a good can be pricey.

No, not really. That's not a full size AEG, it's an AEP with a tiny mechbox and proprietary parts.

Hmmm so would it be better just to get a CO2 pistol like this one?

If your seriously considering getting into the sport, that is a waste of money. I won't be getting a pistol until I've got my whole loadout. AEG, Vest, Camo, Mags, Scope, etc.
Let go of your pre-conceived ideas and listen to the members on these forums and see what others are doing. That is honestly a waste if you don't have an AEG. Save up your money, and when you can afford a decent starter AEG then get it. Don't spend recklessly cause you can't afford something right this moment.
