Deep Blue Digital
I saw some US Navy folks walking around Kandahar Airfield the other day, sporting some new Deep Blue Digital BDUs.
Thoughts?

Geez, I read about the USN trying out stuff like this years ago, to replace the mish-mash of different uniforms everyone wears (seems like a different uniform for every job ). But in colours like this, outside of being afloat/on base, it doesn't seem very useful. You'll likely never see, for instance, SEALs or Boat Teams wearing this stuff.

Wouldn't this be really bad for people who've gone overboard?

If it's like the AF, it's optimised to hide oil and grease stains, and not came the guy wearing it. Pretty stupid IMHO.

I'm kinda diggin' it, but seeing as there is no practical use for blue ACU, I'll stick with ABU.
