How much do CO2 powerlet go for these days?

In bulk the price can be around $0.60/powerlet. It's not as cheap as propane but if the performance (especially outdoor) is good, it'd be worth it.

How much do you want to buy at once?
<50 its around $0.75-$1 250-500 around $0.65-$0.75 1000 around $0.50 I did not factor in shipping. 1000 is going to be heavy consider 12g co2 + the casing which is probably more than 12g....talking atleast 24kg. |

It's actually 44kg (44g for each powerlet)

Well now, that makes this GBBR world a lot more appealing to me. We get windy weather that can strip +18 down to +3 like nothing and on them cursed days I wouldn't want to be on ol'propane.

Well to be honest, I'd still stick with my external air. Simply I can drop the mags all I want and I dont have to worry much. Also better regulator = awesome. We'll wait n see. Don't forget how inefficient magna system runs! This will enhance cool down.

Le Baron use to sell 40 count boxes of Crosman 12g CO2 powerlets for $23.76 a box. Plus taxes, that works out to roughly $0.67 each (in Ontario.)
I'll be damned that I didn't buy more than two boxes at the time, because the price is up to $34.85 + tax now |

The only thing I really hate it how some retailer decided to buy these are C-Tire then sell em at double the price. It happens with other airsoft stuff aswell. |

would you need/recommend any special upgrades to run your WA gbbr on co2? (since the pressure of the co2 is much higher...)

Well it has got to be internally regulated to a safe pressure inside the mag. I highly doubt it puts out 800-900 PSI.

I will suggest you replace the bolt carrier, nozzle, hopup (if it isn't metal_ as minimum, wa is meant to be used on HFC134a. Inokatsu...said they can handle CO2, not sure if its true.

well ill get a G&P WOC, with a RA-tech bolt catch, and RA-Tech NPAS bolt....and RAtech Hard recoil buffer...
I want heavy recoil on my future gbbr, but unfortunatly, heavy recoil= more gas usage = less rounds fired from a single gas charge... so from the application of my Physical classes, CO2 would solve this issue.... :P |
