Exporting Cadpat
Hey guys,
I'm selling issued Cadpat combats bought from Army Issue and want to know if I can ship them overseas to my buyer? Thanks |

I dont think it will be a problem aslong as there are no markings or ranks on it

Anything sold to the general public has been officially decommissioned, you can do what you like with it.

As far as I know, CADPAT clothing isn't 'decommissoned'; any unserviceable piece of CADPAT clothing is destroyed. Issued kt (combats, tac vests etc.) that are in public circulation "fell off the truck" wink wink. Just sayin'.

Yes - Although Jeroon is an honest fellow and isn't running around bribing binrats for scrap cadpats. If you see CADPAT (issue) in a surplus store, it's most likely;
a) been sold by a member; or b) was in a large consignment of surplus materials bought from DND. Surplus store owners buy large lots of surplus goods, often without knowing exactly what is inside. Sometimes, even though they are supposed to be destroyed, you'll find sets of CADPAT combats. Either way, I wouldn't worry about it, go ahead and sell it. I've personally been told that "we don't investigate that, the problem is too big" by the MP's in Kingston when I tried to turn over evidence that a civy worker @ base supply was stealing cadpat and selling it on the side. |
