JG/G&G AEGs
Hello Everyone. I am turning 18 in less than a year, and I am starting to do some research into which first AEG I should get. I know what y'all are thinking "OMG there's another noob with another which gun should I get thread". I have done some research and I have narrowed it down to 3. I have heard that JG guns offer good FPS, range and accuracy out of the box. I saw that the M4 and Sig552 on I believe it was buyairsoft.ca were about 250$. The Sig was cheaper if I recall. I found a couple video reviews on youtube by kappowe etc. They say they are both good. Why then is the Sig 30$ or so cheaper? There is also the JG dragon m4 thingy but it just looks retarded.
There is also the G&G plastic series electric blowback, which is slightly more expensive. What are the pros/cons of these guns? I am not looking to spend more than 300$ on my first AEG, and these seemed like my best options. I do plan on getting Age Verified when I do turn 18, and will check out the classifieds, but I do not get the impression that the value of AEGs drops much with use (correct me if I am wrong), so I was thinking that buying new would be the best option. Please let me know what you guys think. |

Do not get an electric blowback gun, it's a useless feature and just another thing that can break.
When you go into the classifieds you'll see you can get a pre-upgraded gun, or not, with parts and accessories, mags, batteries etc for the same price or less than a new gun |

Full metal, all black guns don't depreciate as quickly because of their durability and because they're more difficult to obtain. Halfbreeds, from buyairsoft and such are simply not held in the same regard. I'd highly recommend that you use the few months you have left to wait and save up. You'll find better deals once you're Av'd.

Styrak: Thanks for the advice. I had read mixed reviews on that gun anyways. I will definitely check out the classifieds before I buy anything. I don't want to have to do any upgrades myself, so maybe a pre-upgraded one, especially if it's the same price or cheaper, is the way to go.
Everyone else: Thanks for the advice. Are there any other guns in the 250-300$ range that anyone would recommend? I just want to see what other options might be available to me. |

In airsoft you get what you pay for. Cheap guns are exactly that: cheap.
