Be patient, ASC Av'ers have lives too. Its been what? 5 days? For some people it takes up to a month.

I have to drive 4 hours each way to meet AVers we meet for less then 10 mins from start to finish took me 4 weeks from first PM to AV on the site times may very as to how close to AVers you are |

I love how every n00b who can't get varified instantly with zero effort on their part says "it's a bad process since it will lose forum members", yet the numbers of varified members on ASC has been growing quite quickly for the last couple of years.

Make an appearance at the April 11 or April 18th game at Flag Raiders Outdoor in Kitchener. There should be an AV'r or 2 in attendance there

I think its a good process
obviously an inconvenient one but I understand the need and I think it helps us n00bs to learn |

As for showing up the the FR game, there will probably be AVers there like shiftup said and people are quite willing to let people interested handle their guns and answer questions they may have :P
Just be patient, after seeing the AVer it takes time, he has to pass the info along and on top of that, they have lives outside this sport/community

Its unfortunate that we cant have 10,000 volunteer verifiers across Canada willing to go out on a whims notice to age verify someone. However since owning an airsoft gun is not a life or death situation Im sure you can sit tight for a little bit longer. Im sorry to hear you have had no responses from your regions verifiers, however the truth is that many people do not live on this website and do not check their emails on a daily basis. People are not paid to be verifiers so sometimes it can take sometime to get in touch with someone as this is all volunteer work and people have lives to tend to. If you feel that this websites processes is not speedy enough for your requirements than by all means feel free to source your airsoft guns through whatever means you have at your disposal. Age verification is not a requirement to be apart of this website. It is only a requirement to view age restricted areas and to purchase from certain retailers and the buy and sell forum.

Along with what T7 said, don't forgot that the last few days have been holidays, most people are away right now and don't bother to check emails.

No actually, I thought you had to be recommended by someone or handpicked by staff to become one. I didn't know anyone could be one.
