Airsoft gun questions
Hello
I am looking at purchasing a G&G MP5A4 blowback and have a few questions that you can hopefully answer. Firstly, where is the best site to purchase it off of? My research so far shows that velocityarms is the way to go but i'd like some feedback. Secondly, I'd like to get a flashlight handguard for it. How do I know what to look far when purchasing one as to if it will fit or not? Any recommendations for one? Next, do I need to purchase a rail to mount a dot sight on it or does it have one? Finally, my research shows that .25 size bb's are generally better than .2. (Correct?) So why would I chose to buy .2's over .5's when they are the same price? How big of role does brand play in the quality of bb's that I shoot or does it not really matter? On an semi-unrelated final question... is shootsoft.ca legit? I'm looking around and seeing mixed comments. That's it for now at least, thanks. Last edited by carld2002; May 9th, 2009 at 14:55.. |

.25 is the weight, not the size. All airsoft BB's are 6mm diameter.
As for the quality, yes it matters, get some good quality BB's like BB Bastard, KSC, Madbull, etc. or you'll screw up your gun. Higher weight BB's are better for more effective range and not being affected as much by the wind, blades of grass, etc. I find .20's almost useless outdoors. |

Even with a stock TM (usually around 280fps) I still REFUSE to use .20s. Garbage. Yeah they go at a higher velocity, but the inaccuracy is just not worth it at all. |

Simply because we don't want to sell this item! Umarex dont give us good service, and we have place all those products price out of range.

I am a newbie so please forgive my ignorance. If you dont want to sell an item, why are you selling it? I mean as a customer from the time I saw that discreprency in price, I didnt trust anything else you were selling. FWIW I am sure you are a good guy and treat your cusotmers well and everything else is fairly priced; but why chance bad customer feedback with an overpriced item?

We never have sold this item since the price have been change, and for a better price he will find in the elite section better quality with G&G.

Mais pourquoi ne pas simplement retirer l'item de l'offre?

Maybe a silly question also but my brother wants an airsoft sniper rifle (I know... I know...) mostly just to plink with as well as play arsoft with once in a while.
What is the best for the $200 range? Is the shootsoft vsr-10 any good? |

the vsr isn't a good gun unless you want to play with the bolt. a kraken shoots just as far and accurater/faster for that price. the TSD M-14 is basically cheaper and stands up to the vrs as an equal but non upgradeable. hay 60$ or spend 120$ so you can upgrade it

I will just consolidate my questions into one thread rather than making a bunch of new ones.
I am also looking at getting a kraken and doing a wood/metal conversion. What do I need to look for in wood/metal kits and who makes kits that I can buy in Canada and will fit on a Kraken? How much modification will I generally have to do to get wood/metal parts to fit? What parts of the kraken are allready metal and what parts would I need to replace with metal? |
