Q's about TM MP5 RAS and Mag advice

I'll be getting this gun pretty soon and it looks like this gun will be shooting in the 280-300fps range, I would like to pump this up to about 330-350 just not sure how reliable the mech box is at this spring pressure. If any of you guys have some hands on experiance with this I would love to know.

Also I've been doing some research on metal mid-cap mags, seems to be people like the G&P ones but I'am looking at some from CA, there's a nice little package deal for 6 mags from these guys http://www.uncompany.com/pageproduct...sp?prodid=8742 I'am just not sure the quality, can't seem to find any info on them.

Thanks for your help if you can give any.

Upgrade to metal bushings, a bearing spring guide, and am M100 spring. That should put you in the range you're shooting for. The TM mechbox should last ok at sub-350 velocities.

And yes, those mags are fine.

Ok great to know! I have all that in my parts bin, but I'am kind of surprised TM are still using plastic bushings

Well, in reality, as upgradeable as they are, TM are primarily designed for the Japanese market and not intended for power upgrades. They're designed to shoot 280 fps, and for that, their weak mechboxes, gears and nylon bushings can last for years of regular use.
