Recomended gun for a noob

Hi guys, im currently sixteen years old and I am looking for a airsoft gun im gonna get when i am gonna be 18 and age verified (don't start to explain me everythinng about the legallity of airsoft in Canada, I know most of it.) I wanted to know which gun you would recomend to buy between a TM AK47 and a TM G36C. I would personally go for the G36 for a few reasons like the fact I am a G36 fan and that the reviews about it says positive things like good accuracy. Also, is MARPAT efficient for woodland combat in most forests (I think so, its just to be sure.) Thank you for answering.

Well if you personally want a G36, I would get a G36. I wouldn't know if MARPAT is good, depends on your area, take a look a marpat and take a look at where you want to play. Combine the two and see if it works.

I love the G36 platform. Though I'd recommend the Classic Army offering over the Tokyo Marui one any day. The CA one comes with metal bushings, shoots a bit harder, and the body is MILES better than the TM one. The internals are reliable as well... I had over 25,000 rounds through mine before I swapped out anything.

After seeing this and also due to the fact it has a nylon fiber body, i might get a CA instead, anyone had bad experience with a CA36C or a TM G36C

the only problems that ive had with my CA g36 ( full length ) are that the piston cracked and it only shoots full auto now.... both of those are caused by after market parts breaking lol. i have nothing but praise for it.

I had my CA36K whipped into a tree after tripping, worked just as it did before and had no scratches or anything, just some debris that wiped off. It's also a fairly easy gun to disassemble for cleaning/upgrading.

The only con to the G36 series that I have is the fat mags, you can only fit one G36 mag into a pouch that normally holds two M16/M4/AR15 style mags. Mags and external parts (rails, stocks, top rails/handles, mag wells, ect) are also a bit harder to find than AK-47 and M16/M4/AR15 variants. Honestly though, I've never had issues finding what I need once I got Age Verified.

I currently own a JG G36C and I must say, I have been nothing but impressed by it. The JG model was relatively inexpensive and well worth my money. All the reviews say it's pretty tough. Also, I managed to do an upgrade on mine and again, nothing but positive things. Plus, it feels really solid. That being said, a TM or CA version would be nice too
