My buddy was searching for the same thing. After a few tries, he found that a patrol bandoleer was best for him.

He bought this one and attached it to a molle belt. It holds 4 M4 mags and 2 pistol mags/bb loaders.

From first hand inspection it looks to be of top quality, easily pairing with pantac sewing/fabric quality. The colour directly matches my issued CB bijan's.

my 2 cents as it has been said before, go with the RRV, and since you have pouches already they can mount directly on, and can use the optional back panel.

CT is lighter than CB, but I have no idea what MJK is.

try opsgear.com , there service is awesome , there prices comparable , and they have a vest builder site that lets you fab your own molle rig . You can customize your rig to fit your run & gun needs .

Yep, it's pretty much the same, but uses the same elastic system as all of Eagles other pouches. It's pretty much an exact replica... :-/

When I don't know what to wear

I grab my Eagle universal Chest rig..

Holds any shape mag ... ( granted you will only get 4 FALor AK mags in )

Holds 4 pistol mags .. holds a pistol... and room for snacks and other "mission Critical " gear..

as a second line.. between 1st and 2nd line you should have a pretty low profile rig that carries enough of everything

I'm just about to go Modular .. and pick up the Molle universal chest rig... then with various pouches I'm pretty much set for any mission.

Examples of the rigs everyone is suggesting

You can load them up or go very light depending on how you configure and use the molle.

As you can see I don't go very light, the H-harness can hold 16 mags plus

The chest rig is an eagle replica very close to the BHI chest rig. You can also fit plates in the front and rear ( had to attach the rear plate panel separately). The front is folded down right now. This is a very versatile rig and can hold AK and M4 mags no problem. Combined with the first line drop leg you will never run out of mag space

I ended up with a BHI Recon Commando harness.

After fiddling with adjusting the straps, it's a nice light rig. I'm a bit of a pack rat...so the sheer lack of pouches has me nervous...but I'll load it up with the essentials, move some stuff to my first line and see how it goes.

Thanks for all the advice and ideas! (so now, as a non-gear guy, I have 6 rigs...of which I'll probably only use 2...one green and one CB ).

I agree 100% on the Blackhawk H Harness.. I also say the Pantac RRV is really nice to have and light.
