King Arms Neoprene Mask

Ive searched google and here aswell as the JOC forums and other then people saying that they stop bleeders Im curious to know more about the King Arms Neoprene Mask's I mean its the same stuff as a dry suit so Im betting it roasts your head if you wear it, wont it ? Does any one here have and experiance with it at all or another suggestion for face protection, Ive used the recon wraps and find them feeling very cheap and flimsy, not stopping any thing at all other then dust so ya any other options from you guys at all would be very helpful thank you.

I used one for a single game...

It was WAY too hot, hard to breathe... aaand I ended up getting shot in the face and receiving a bleeder anyways.

All it did was absorb some blood and spread it out all over my face.

Sensei mesh masks... You can pop out the mesh and wear goggles underneath it / attach the lower half of the mask to some goggles

I have one (not a King Arms) in MARPAT. I used it at a CQB game at the Mill in Montreal last December. I took a burst to the face at about 20 feet and it was fine. I felt it, but left no marks.

I wouldn't see myself wearing that in summer though. Would be WAY too hot.

Yea.. I made the mistake of using it in true CQB... the local CQB place is like an office with cubicle space from hell

YouTube - Airsoft at Xtreme-Tactics

There's a really bad video lol.

There are some really tight spaces like that at the Mill too. The top 2 floors of the factory are a combination of warehouse space and office space. The office sections are quite tight. I took my burst to the face during a firefight in a hallway. Poked my head and gun around the corner to get a shot off, and took the burst of maybe 5-6 rounds in the face.

I also have that happen at about the same range last weekend at Op Broadsword (nuthouse that will be the site of BW 3). Only had a balaclava at the time. I took a burst to the face - one on the forehead, a couple in the goggles, one on the tip of the nose, and a couple on the upper lip. All I had for face protection was a balaclava. That stung like a mofo... no visible marks though... Although if I were to shave the mustache, there might be...

I wear a neoprene mask all the time in CQB, even in summer. Yes it's hotter then wearing nothing but you get used it to thank heaven when you get a face hit.

Saved me a few bleeders but I mainly use it to protect my teeth. I recommend it.
