AEG question
After talk with several people, include MAA. I come to one thing, Sniper rifle is bad for newbie.
now, I got one gun, Mp7, and think to get second gun for "sniper" purpose, not mean I prone and get aimed, etc. what I want is gun that can shoot decent distance with good accuracy. why I ask? because my Mp7 isn't perfect for long distance. I sworn that my Mp7 sometime hit person 50 ft away then miss person 15 ft away. not feel like to buy parts to make it more better. I did get some suggestion such as G36, M4, and AK. But I wonder what about other kind of gun like AUG, SAM, and thing like this? ADDED: one more thing, what affect gun's accuracy? is it Barrel, speed, or balance?

those choices are good. for medium engagements. the M16 and AUG are good for medium to long. Those should be your main gun, and use the MP7 as either a backup or for CQB only. and M14 is a good choice, but not as versatile as the guns that you mentioned.

an aug, SAM-R or M16 length gun would be nice for range and accuracy, but its all personal preference. if you like the G3 like you where saying on the MAA go for that

yeah, true I do like G36 but I do test it before. I did run small problem with safety switch when it get too close to my hand and accident safety lock several time in CQB. so I try to find weapon with safety little away from grip so I won't accident safe on.

Certain bullpups also have a nack for insane accuracy. A FA-MAS and P90 come to mind. Might have something to do with the free-floating barrel.

yeah, I once watch TV show call Weaponolgy, They said that free-floating barrel allow sniper achieve same shot every time. it work by not touch stock. so reduce any mechanical shift.
I read other thread I wrote about FPS, most said mention about how easy change stuff in AUG and P90. I start to think to get such gun that can be easily fixed and have good accuracy for medium to long distance like AUG. but I still think about G36 b/c it has lot of different kind of part if I need to change or replace. I try to balance b/w effective and reliable. no point to have gun that capable to do 1000 FT for quarter if it has same duration as walmart airsoft guns.

If you get a decent gun you won't have trouble with reliability.

Not Eye Safe, Pretty Boy Maximus on the field take his picture!

I'd say choose between an AUG, G3, or G36.
All are excellent long range platforms, and easy to upgrade. M14's are great at range but nobody wants to upgrade them lol The FAMAS is a V1 and hard to find parts for. The P90 is a great gun but also really short. |

If you want good range you should check out a CA SPR
If you're interested I could meet up with you and show you it... If you're coming to the scrim on sunday I can bring it out to show you, but you wont be able to use it unless you trade me some colorful paper :P |
