Top Tech HK416 Features and Firing Test

From what the video shows me, the thing looks solid, accurate, and it sure is pretty. I've got several questions.

1: How good is it, really? is the gun durable? Are the internals of good quality? Is the weapon compatible with stocks, magazines, and rail-mounted accessories that work with most other Model-4 and Model-16 AEGs?

2: How much will it cost to buy here in Canada?

3: From the video, it looks like most of the parts, if not all, are made of metal. Is this a fact? Is the rifle electric or gas-operated?

Top Tech is G&G. You won't find them here in Canada because of the black receiver. Not legal for sale in Canada

GreyCoyote is Age Verified like yourself, rustysniper.

There's no reason why it cannot be a special order item from an AV retailer, is there?

Top Tech M4's are here so there is no reason why the same retailers bringing the M4 in would not bring this in if asked to when it is available to them if it is not already.

The G&G (TopTech) M4A1 Carbine Plastica Series Blowback with clear lower receiver is available for pre order at Mach 1 Airsoft. Maybe the 416 will come to Canada as well, hopefully?

Fake blowback's a gimmick, if you want a nice 416 then save up $1000.00+ & start combing throught the classifieds here for a Hurricane kit or a VFC 416. I've seen more than one of each come through here.

I've got the VFC version and it's a real jewel.

None of the 3 guns I aquired in the last year (2 of which were bought NIB), nor any other gun I own, is clear...

Hmm, I'm not looking for any GBB rifles at the moment, as I'm not sure of the extra costs and equipment I'd require - and whether I have to keep buying more gas. Hell, as it is, I'm not even sure how to recharge AEG batteries. I would have had the M15A4 I bought from nwahs by now - had a Canada Post employee not stolen the goddamn package.

Yeah, if you like the HK416 look go for a VFC (hard to find) or a JG (great price and looks good too). The Top Tech blowback is kind of a gimmick and it's just another thing to break. For blowback, nothing beats gas but as you said it's expensive.
