Ksc Glock 18c efficency problems

Hi i recently received a G18c in a trade, stock plastic model, and i air it up with duster(fill for 3 seconds ) and i only get about 10 shots from a mag. I tried with propane aswell and im still getting bad efficiency, and sometimes the slide doesnt cycle fully so it shoots but does not chamber another bb for a few shots.

What could the problem be?

Are you filling the mag with the can/propane upright or upside-down?

upsidedown both times, both 3 seconds each.

just fired it again, with a 4 second fill the gun shoots about 18 shots without bbs, many of the shots the slide only goes about 1.5 cm back.

I noticed the same thing also... after searching around for a bit - the answer was the duration of fill. I now use a 10 - 15 count to top up the mag with propane. There was a noticable increase for the blowback where the slide always locked when the mag is emptied either in semi or full auto. I also noticed that with this charge in semi-auto the pistol will fire the entire clip, but in full-auto it fires 15 - 18 flawlessly but usually doesn't cycle the full mag (using .20 high polished 6mm). Just experiment with it and see what works best for you.

Is that safe to use 10-15 seconds to fill or will that blow the seals?

Personally I haven't had a problem with the seals blowing. Every 10 to 15 mag loads so 200 - 300 rounds I take the charging valve out and spray silcone spray inside the mag. I also spary the charging valve with silicone inside and out. Like a previously stated, experiment a little; try little increments and see what works best for you.

Liquid will spit out the fill valve when it's full. You won't blow the seals.

Some of the newer mags for the ksc guns have now have 'gas saver' fill valves which don't actually spill out gas when they are full. You just have to listen until you stop hearing the gas flow into the magazine.

KWA (basically KSC) manuals tell you to fill for 10+ seconds (I can't recall exactly and I sold the gun).
