KJW M9 rolling bb's

I have a KJW M9 Berretta which has been giving me grief. If I chamber A bb it rolls it out the barrel as soon as I tip it downwards. I assumed it was a hop-up issue. I carefully examined the gun to determine that it has in fact, no hop up system. So I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem, How did you fix it, or am I just blind? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

9 out of 10 times this means the barrel has too much lube in it, allowing the bb to slip right out.

Take the gun apart and blow some duster into the barrel or somthing.

I had the same issue with my KJW M9, and it wasn't due to lube in the barrel. I discovered a couple of weeks ago while seeing if I could fit on a TM rightbore barrel that the hopup rubber was installed incorrectly from the factory. To prevent this slip, I would have to tighten the hopup so tight my BB would have WAY too much hop. Once I reassembled it with the hopup rubber installed correctly, I haven't experienced this issue.

It's a flaw with most KJ guns as I've read alot of reviews on them, it's just something you have to live with unless you want lots of hopup lol
Just learn to point your gun upwards instead of downwards

Guys, all of you didn't seem to read that he has a KJW M9 with NO HOPUP SYSTEM.

Yeah, I missed that no hopup thing completely first time around.

To the OP - Are you sure there's no hopup? I have a KJW M9 and it has one. As far as I know (I could be wrong), KJW guns all have hopups.

Just check this out to confirm. I don't know how hopup is adjusted on other M9s, but this is the way it works on both my KJW and WA Berettas. The hopup adjustment is not a visible unit like on my other GBB guns. You remove the slide, and on the underside of the chamber, there a small hole in which you can fit a 1.5mm allen key. That's where the hopup adjustment is.

If that's not there, then is no hopup then you have a different model gun than I do. Sorry, that's all I got for suggestions.

sorry I took so long but I found it. Theres that little hole with the allen key right there. So here is my next question. How do I fix the improper hop-up rubber issue.

You don't, as far as I could research for replacement parts, that particular one was a difficult one to track down. All that has really happened, and this can happen in the non-hop up ones as well, is that the rubber seal that "seats" the round before its fire wears down. Once that wears out there is nothing to hold the round in the chamber when you tilt the gun down.

Now above is with my understanding that you're talking about the BB just rolling out when tilting the gun and not firing; if it is rolling out while firing, you'll need to track the gas all the way from the BB back to the magazine as there are a few issues that **can** come up in different guns.

As for "All KJ guns have hop-up" this is false, there are older models that still circulate that had no hop up from the KJW lines. So you could still buy a new one today that has no hop unit.
