I own their Saber jacket and a pair of pants aswell, not the Taclite but what was trendy before they released the Taclite. I have to admit that build quality on both products is really nice and they usually have some neat little features on whatever they advertise.

All in all it's good quality stuff and they have a wide range of product and sizing out there for everyone.

They are the real deal. I like their products and have a few pairs of their pants and a vest as well.

TDU pants and shirts are excellent. I work in Law Enforcement and I have to say that the 5.11 stuff is miles ahead of anything I'm issued. Highly recommended. Plus with the TDU pants they have a couple perfectly sized compartments inside the side cargo pocket for pistol mags such as the USP.

Most of the ETF teams in the Greater Toronto Area pick up (at least some) 5.11 Tactical gear to compliment their load out. I personally vouch for the pants, belts and shirts as they are the the exact ones used by members of both Peel Police Tactical and Toronto (used to be Metro) Tactical.
No issues with the fit or function and an all around excellent gear maker IMHO.

I have an underarmour style Heat Gear shirt in Coyote Brown from 511. It is awesome! I wear it to every game and it has held up very well.

I love their textile products (pants, coats and pouches) but their boots have been very meh.

My pair of HRTs died young on account of both rubber bumpers disliking Canadian winters. Probably great for indoor/warmer enviromment.
