DE M81 AEP or TM M92F GBB
hey, im not too sure why im posting it in the neubie section, but couldn'd figure out where else to put it, so here we are.
At the moment, i use a JG HK416 w/full stock, EG1000 motor, 9.6v 3300 mah battery and all the obvious upgrades (metal bushings ect) As a side arm i used a CYMA glock 18 AEP but sadly, that died and i would rather like a change in gun. I am not too sure wether to go for a change and get a GBB or stick with a AEP. My choises are, if i were to be getting an AEP, i would get the DE M81 as it has a high fps and is sturdy due to its metal slide. and if i were to get a GBB, i would get the TM M92F as it is good for your money and has the awesome feel that a GBB should have So do you guys think i should stick with an AEP or get a GBB? |

AEP batteries generally dont last very long, and the gun itself is pretty weak. When in doubt, I'd advise a GBB

ok, so i'm definitely going for a TM GBB.
I forgot to mention another gun that i might want in my first post. now it is between the TM M92F or the TM Glock 26 The glock 26 is supposedly not too good fitting in the hand, am i right in saying this? |

It's all personal preference. The 92F and 1911A1 are the two GBB's that fit my hands the best, get your hands on each one for a few minutes and see what suits you.

Putting aside the company differences (China VS Japan), GBBs are generally more finicky and require more maintenence then an AEP. They also are greatly affected by temperature, specifically when playing in the cold, an AEP will do you better.
On the other hand, the feel and realism of GBBs can never be had in an AEP, nor can the velocities most gas blowbacks output, nor the trigger response. If you want a high quality, well performing, and durable GBB, go for one of the latest TM ones, such as their Hicapa series, their Glock 17, and their latest 1911 variants.
