AK-47 Trigger problem...

So my JG AK-47 is having problems... like I can only fire it in semi auto once, then the trigger doesn't spring back, and I have to push it forward in order to fire it again. Full Auto doesn't work at all... I think it has something to do with the tappet plate inside the gearbox, but I'm not sure... When i was putting it back together, the trigger was having the same problem, when i pulled it, it made a clicking noise and it didn't spring back forward, but after fiddling around with it, i ended up fixing it and put it back together, but still the firing mechanism was messed up...

anyone know the problem?

I would suspect the problem is with the selector assembly, not the tappet plate. All the tappet plate does is move the nozzle in time with the gears and piston. It's not related to the trigger assembly.

Trigger spring sounds borked, if the thing isn't returning to the correct posistion. Its a bit fiddly to do on an AK (supposed to be harder than a v.2, don't ask me....) so someone experienced is best to put the new one in.

It returns to its normal position when I pull the trigger when I don't have the battery plugged in, everything's normal, but when I actually have the battery plugged in, fully automatic does not work at all, and semiauto fires single shots before I have to push the trigger back to its spot to fire again. I don't think the trigger spring is screwed up, it seemed fine when I opened up the gearbox
