This is also how a lot of people feel about pricing of airsoft guns here in Canada vs pricing in the US Japan or Hong Kong, but this is an effect of the limited availability as a result of regulation, not deliberate exclusion by retailers. I'm sure most airsoft retailers would gladly do 4x the business at 1/2 to 1/3 the retail price if the logistics and regulations were possible. If someone sources their airsoft gear from the US or HK they're still welcome to play as long as they meet the safety requirements. Last edited by ryusoma; May 7th, 2008 at 14:13.. |

hey new to the forum. i see this thread is a lil old but want to add to it. i added an attachmeant picture of 6 mm paintballs that work in two of my airsoft guns fine. the name on the bottle says flying colors paint balls. they make premium seamless paintballs stated in their website on the back of the bottle (www.palcomarketing.com) doesnt exactly look reputable but seems to work fine. i used the paintballs in my p99 walther spring airsoft rated at 300fps and used it in my crosman airmag c11 co2 powered pistol rated at 400 fps. both fired close range and at a range of about 30 feet both breaking leaving a nickle to a quarter size spot. not once have one broke in the barrel of the pistols. at 30 feet i can hit the back of a folding metal chair 75% of the time with the p99 and 14 out of 15 shots form the c11. bottle states to use in 59-80 degrees its been recently between 65 and 70 degrees in florida with moderate humidity. so if at all worried about using them id try to use them according to the bottle recommendations. i bought the bottle at a outdoors/hunting good store called acadamy in pensacola florida for around 6 bux. i have weighed them on my scale and they're consistantly at .13 grams. and if you have problems they are water soluble why not wash em out and use airsoft oil to prevent rusting? (no aeg of coarse). |

We usually use AEG's or high powered bolt action rifles.
So no, those still aren't a good idea. |

As stated before..
Paintball gun = fires paint. Airsoft = BB's They just don't mix. I guess if you really want to use some cheap gun for fun, go ahead.

understandable. but for those who are looking, most likely arent using an aeg. found a site that sells a 400 count fairly cheap for the seamless bb's by the same brand i have.
http://www.combatsportsupply.com/ind...PROD&ProdID=71 if not used in a skrimage and just shootin in tha back yard or something. seems to be a cheap alternative to a paintball gun. i have a tippman custom 98. so i understand the airsoft for airsoft and paintball for paintball. never tried shooting marbles from my paintball gun. but its nice to have the ability to have a paintball airsoft paistol. |

Work or not. the point is that i sure as hell wouldnt want some new player walking into a game shooting that shit all over my gear and guns. i didnt pay for real HSGI and Eagle stuff to have it looking like bozo's bukkaki, and i wouldnt take to kindly to the player shooting that shit at me. if you want paintball, go play paintball.

Do those paintball BBs taste good? I ask cuz if any moron would fire such thing at me on my ghillie or gear or weapon well, he would have to eat them.Never mix paintball and airsoft FINAL.

Thank you for your contribution. In Canada the majority of players frown upon use of 6mm paintballs. Even though the paint is water soluable people really do not wish to have their gear and clothing peppered with little colored dots. As well as a 0.13g BB is not a highly sought after weight for a BB, most people use 0.20g-0.25g and up.
