ooooh THAT NAMBLA....
G&G can be hit or miss on their quality control, the only thing I had to do to mine when I bought one was put a new hop up unit into it. I ended up putting a SystemA one piece metal hop up and the gun worked awesome. But everytime I took the gun apart I would wince at all the rough edges to the mechbox and G&G internals, there were burs everywhere. There were a couple air seal issues because of these rough edges primarly around the cylinder head that the only way I could solve was silicone that I would have to cut out when ever I had to open the mechbox but I did get more consistent shots and better FPS because of it so that made the extra work worth it.
If its a first gun buy, I'd say stick with a TM, the gun will 9 times of 10 work with NO fuss straight out of the box. There are more parts avail so that in the future if you want to upgrade you can if you so choose, the turn off to most people going this route is the cost, but you're paying for quality in the grand scheme of things and that
should make it worth the extra pennies.
