That's pretty much what the KX3 does. I wouldn't say it actually makes it louder (as an amplifier) but it does change the pitch noticeably and makes the sound more directional, much like old fashion bullhorns.

Either way it sounds nice, the way a CAI makes your engine sound a bit nicer.
