Byblos, I think we've met at the field. I can totally show you what I did to my Kraken body to give it the same look. When you get your Kraken, send me a PM.....we'll get together with our local AK guy and I'll show you how to do it.

The best technique I've found for making a plastic look like beat up metal is to "dry brush" silver paint over top of it. Usually works bet on smaller items (model kits etc.) but with time and patience you can get it to work on a gun. I've done it before on springer pistols for film class back in high school and the effect works well.

maybe you guys could post some pics of your projects for him to see and give him some visual ideas
