I also have a broken we, see what I did was just buy a real steel 1911 bushing and put it in. I would strongly advise against firing the WE without a recoil guide cap with that ridge on it, as it will break your 1911 slide. What irritates me the most is that I can’t seem to find a replacement anywhere. Guarder makes a version for non-bushing types but I can seem to find anything that will work for this. Unless you want to replace your whole slide you really need to find a end cap with that lip on it.
