I have read up and I know I cannot legally play the sport until I reach the age of majority. So I don't plan to until then, but I would like for some of you to share your experiences with airsoft. Like your favorite moment of a game, or something along the lines of that. And please go into detail, I can't play fore quite some time yet, so all I have left to do really is read all about it.
why not read some A.A.R. reports AND watch some videos? here is my video link:

http://hosted.filefront.com/socommk23/

i have 99 videos posted and only 8 are not airsoft related. enjoy...

mine happened at teh foxden. we were attacking th ePOW base from two angles my smaller squad got sent to attac the side the watch tower is on. We quickly dispatched those in side the tower to discover that the enemy force had thier backs to us while the rest of my unit (unbeknowsnt to me) stayed at the tower. I proceded to rush in and get 8 kills before being team killed myself (glares at Hazzard SFD) that was a good day felt like rambo i did.

1. yes update your profile, the site's been here longer than the 5 years you might need to wait to play.

2. Hitarosu is a great example of noobdom to follow, he's earning our respect very quickly out here.

3. you're off to a good start, I second the cameraman idea, get yourself a hiviz vest and just shoot all day, if you take 100 pictures then 10 or 15 will be awesome.

I agree with Colt...shoot as many stills as you can it will also help you if you "get into the feel" of the game shoot from low angles. behind cover etc...it will help you learn more as well.

perhaps for the next few years try a bushball paintball team? it will help you with tactics etc. I know its not airsoft but at least it is ok for your age to play. and you will learn stuff like hand signals etc for when you "graduate" to airsoft.

-Taking a piss in game.

-Being stuck under fire, having to wait for backup... sit back against the log and have a cigarette... cant advance nor retreat as I was pinned down and the enemy had the same range as the sniper rifle which was covering me for the time being.

-The hot dogs served at the local field Panther. Untill the hot dog guy was kicked out and the field began their own "lunch spot" with crappy hot dogs/burgers/fries. I miss the hot dogs from "Mr. Tube Steak"... those Jalepeno & Cheddar dogs were the best. THe field has those "Hebrew National" kosher hot dogs as they no longer taste like cruelty.

-Not knowing whats over each ridge, behind each bush and under each log. Always on the watch. Setting up a small ambush and waiting for the enemy to pass. Camping for the enemy. The whole "Surprise" factor basically.

- The guns, the upgrading, the accessories, the parts.

TokyoSeven: I didn't know there was after game dinners and the such, but now that I think about it it makes perfect sense. And yeah I would enjoy that too, especially after a day of running my ass off in full gear.

Muffin: Would have loved to see the look on that guys face.

Andres: Certainly sounds satisfying. Defending objectives and locations will probably be my favorite part of a game I don't know what it is but the aspect of holding down the fort against an enemy assault is just exhilarating.

Aquamarine: Wait hold on a sec... Maybe these after game dinners arn't what I thought they were... maybe it'll be best to avoid them after all...

TokyoSeven: Well if it is as it sounds... who would wanna talk about it again?

TCLP: Yeah at the end of the day I guess all that really matters is that you had a good time. Sounds kinda cheesy but true.

six4 A grand idea, yet I am running on dial-up. So an idea I cannot use, sadly.

Chuco: That would suck, having your streak ended, and by a team-mate too!

ColtFarmer: I definatly will update my profile right after this post. And Hitarosu does seem like a very respectable person, I will do all I can to follow the example he continues to set. The more I think about it the better the camera man idea sounds, and just so I'm clear on this hiviz = High Visibility right?

deep in the bush: Bushball. I did not think of it because well I didn't know a non-run-and-gun version of paint ball existed maybe I'll try it out, or at least google it later. Oh and about the pictures I understand why it would help me "get into the game" a little better seeing hows, opposed to just spectating, I can actually feel like I am contributing, however small it may be.

KNIVEZS: Ouch... Least it wasn't bare-assed... or was it

demco11: The surprise factor or suspense is one of the major things that turned me onto Airsoft when I first learned of the sport. Well that and MilSim Games (Which is the hardest thing to wait for. MilSim games just seem so amazing.)

Scenario bushball DOES exist. They use tactics and squad/section attacks in order to accomplish objectives and such. It's not that bad. It's definitely more feasible for your age.

Also, if you go out as a cameraman, you might find yourself pulled into a scenario as a "hostage" or "VIP". We've done that with camera people before. I think there is great footage of me taking the cameradude hostage, making fun of him and then getting lit up by three people all at the same time. I just don't know where it is.

So yeah, look into your local paintball field and see about scenario paintballers.

And no, that wasn't my favourite airsoft moment. My favourite airsoft moment was... well, search on youtube for the Windsor Airsoft Club Zombie Hunt. It's either that or the time I charged an objective with nothing but a hockey stick.
