ESS Turbofan problems...
Hi guys,
I got my ESS Turbofan V2 last year and used them at 4 or 5 games. I really like them and never had any fog problem again. But strangely only after a few games they were not working anymore. I took great care of them on the field and never abused them. I took everything apart and back again (with new soldering), they work for a couple of seconds and then nothing...I even tried to plug the battery directly on the motor, it works a little....stops...works again....so it's not a switch problem...it must be the tiny electric motor....anyone has ever had the same problem ? I tried some electronic stores to find a replacement for the electric motor but none had some. I looked on the Web and couldn't find any place to buy a spare motor. The ESS Company doesn't want to send me any part because they say I didn't buy them directly from them (that's true). I don't want to buy a new pair, they are expensive and they are almost brand new....any help would be appreciated, thanks |

could be something with your motor or your battery then, try using another battery and if it still persists, its most likely your motor.

Mine quit working, put in a new battery and all is fine. I get home from the game and decide to test dead battery and tester shows it is in the green.Weird
But mine would run like you said for a few seconds then die.But fresh duracell and ran for 4hrs no prob. |
