AR trouble, won't fire!

I just got a "ARMS: COMBAT FORCE" model NO. JP-917A

I assembled it, loaded the clip, and it won't fire.
It's odd, whenever I pull the loading lever, the pellet just falls out the other end of the gun... what am I doing wrong?

so when you put the mag in it wont fire ? Pluged the batterie right ?

the cocking lever on an airsoft is usualy not use. The only thing its use to is to show the Hop-Up

well there's no battery, I'm not sure how it's supposed to fire...

Load the bb into the mag
Pull back the cocking lever, or whatever would pass for the cocking lever
disengage safety if that applys
pull trigger to fire.

Now youve stated that all that happens when you pull the cocking level the BB just rolls out the end of the barrel? Thats very interesting. I can theorize a few things but nothing solid.

I would say your best bet is to return the gun and exchange it for another.

yep, I did all that

the BB just rolls out the end of the barrel, and the trigger does nothing. It moves fine, but does nothing.

When you pull back the cocking lever, does it sound as if there is any form of an audible click or the sound of something locking into place?

The trigger does nothing? So when the cocking level is cocked the mechanism can not be unreleased by pulling the trigger?

I have no way of contacting them, no phone numbers or reciepts
A bad move in retrospect....
I can hear a click when I cock it but nothing locks into place.
The level always slides back to it's original position.

Nothing changes in the rifle except that the BB falls out of the barrell

That was a very bad move on your behalf. Sort of like cutting off your foot for money, but not getting the money first and then letting the person with the money run away.

Well the lever should not be locked back, I meant was there any indication of sound as if something internally was locking into place. A click or something.
When you draw back the lever you should feel a slight bit of spring tension and then hear a click before the lever would return itself to its resting position.

However if this is not the case, and the trigger does nothing. Unfortunelty I cannot recommend anything. Its almost not worth taking apart to attempt to repair. Since the broken or missaligned part or parts may not be replaceable or repairable anyways.

I suppose you could always hang it on your wall.

Yeah, I think both the trigger and the cocking level are broken...

Increase the hop up a bit. Guns are typically shipped (when new) with the hop up at zero, and if there is no hop up, the loaded BB will roll out the end of the barrel. Dial in some hop up (if adjustable) and it should sort out the problem. If the hop up is fixed, then good chance the rubber nub is torn and needs to be replaced.

Am wondering now if there even is a hop up in that gun. I mean, 200fps with 0.12g BBs..............
