I got the Light version, and I'm definitly impressed by the quality of the gun, its my first mid-high end gun I have, I I'd say money well spent.
Heavy and EGLM is defintly on my to get list |

running around all day with the eglm isn't fun. trust me. makes the damned thing heavier than it already is and unless you get a good position, the grenade won't do that much.

HA, personally I wouldn't like to carry anything that's not useful, and battery box is one of them, unless I can put batteries in the RIS... Just like hi-caps. If this is a real combat condition, if you carry a couple of mags having 300 bullets each, see how fast and how long you can run and last on the battlefield...

Hmm, looks really nice, except for the stock...I still think all SCARs have the dumbest looking stock. If there was one to own for me, it would be this one - plus a Magpul grip of course.

I'm failing to see what makes it so much better than the CA version. I can see a few improvements, not much mind you.

I don't have a CA to compare to so sorry nothing I can say there.
The build quality and the attention to detail is what had me sold on the exterior, but nothing I can say about the internal, dam that mirco sized hex screw proventing me from getting the box open. (its just a standard v2 mechbox I believe, plastic internals.) Yeah I know the launcher will be a huge burden to carry around, suppose i just wanted one to complete the scar, but I'd put a grip or a M900/Rico Alpha 9 tac light under it, then a clone eotech 553. thats about it. |

as of right now, the only way to get the eglm is to buy the deluxe star scar package and sell the gun afterwards. Star is supposedly going to release it individually later on, but right now they're reaping the money from those who want the eglm badly enough to buy the whole thing.
I think they've release the standalone version with the extending stock and stuff, and they say that it'll fit anything that has a ris. Probably not comfortably though. It doesn't have the slot for the magwell, so its not the exact same thing. |
