Dude, don't even think about it. Anything you can find in clear version on the net is NOT worth your money. Most of these guys will tell you to save because they just plain know clearsoft is useless and breaks...I've personally experienced it. No clearsoft weapon I've ever owned (and admittedly there have been a few) has lasted very long. I.e. a matter of weeks. So unless you're REALLY good at jury-rigging solutions for broken plastic bits, don't go there. Take the advice of the vets, and save for something reliable and in-country. I went through all the stages of airsoft ownership up to my current one (from Wal-Mart to CYMA and JG to TM and KWA and now starting into learning repair + upgrade...not enough $$ for "gun whore" though)...and man do I wish I'd have listened. Now that I think of how much $$ I wasted...not worth it.

It might, depends on the CBSA agent who you declare it to. Clear guns suck anyways. Just buy a real airsoft gun from Shootsoft.

Just out of curiosity, what did you have in mind? And to answer your question directly, it should (theoretically) make it across if it's clear. But I'd still discourage you from buying whatever it is you're thinking of. Only worthwhile clearsoft I've seen so far is the shotgun at Wal Mart.

1) run silent for a while before the flaming starts. It may already be too late. 2) Clearsoft shotgun = best you're going to get until you're 18 unless you know someone who's 18 and willing to buy for you. However, this practise is generally frowned upon. 3) Look into other ways you can get involved in the community before buying a gun. Talk to hosts and see if you can come out and watch games, look at gear, learn what you can on the forums about how games and guns work...there's alot out there that has nothing to do with owning a gun 4) Lurk on the forums alot. Read, use the search tool, goolgle, etc. Don't start a thread until you are 200% sure you can't find the info yourself - depending on the day and the people who read your thread, you may get help or be burned to a crisp - more than likely the latter. 5) wait and save. The world changes when you turn 18 and get age verified, believe you me. Good luck!
