The British S 95 gortex set is designed to be worn under the smock.. but they also have a gortex over shell that has pockets on it designed for "other arms" that don't have the "stealth" requirements.

I,ll agree on that one, I own both types the outer jacket version has two slanted outer pockets. And a wired hood!

I wear an American rain jacket under my combats. Since all you see is the hood the camo pattern doesn't really matter.
