Echo 1 pdw trigger spring

Go to www.mechbox.com and watch V2 mechbox upgrade video. It shows you how to reinstall the trigger assembly correctly.

its not the same trigger assembly, maybe its a echo 1 thing but its different from whats on that site. I know how to do that one. I guess this a ver 3. mechbox.com doesnt show the trigger being reassembled.

That may help show the orientation...sure looks like a v3 trigger to me...but I'll defer to the expertise of others...

Here's a thread that you may find helpful.

The v2 vs v3 thing is debated there.

I thought that all MP5s had a V2 mechbox, but seems like that isn't the case. I stand corrected...

I could be wrong, but I believe that the MP5 series is a version 2 and the K/PDW series is a version 3.

Anyways, that's what they are when I tear into them.

Just a quick note...for the most part, the v2 and v3 are similar. Just small differences in shell and trigger assembly.

Dont know about any others, but at least on the Echo its technically V3, i believe, just with V2 style motor placement in that theres no mount bolted to the box. Just slide the motor in the grip yknow. The trigger is a bitch to fit back in of V3's, the trigger spring fits on the pivot point of the trigger itself, to the left of the trgger if youre holding the gun. The spring goes in between the trigger and the left side of the gearbox, rather. Then a wedge-shaped metal bit fits on the back of the trigger. It should meet up with the switch and just barely clear the sector gear. My sincerest apologies however Im far too lazy and busy to take my gun apart and post pictures.
