I shot Apoc's M16 PTW with the 150 cylinder and found it reasonably shitty past 100ft using 0.25g BBs. At least shitty by the reputation PTWs have, I found it to be not as good as either of my TM MP5s shooting 0.28g BBs (sub 380fps w/0.20g BBs), larger groups on the PTW and dropping around 130ft. And I was the one setting the hop up, really sensitive with the new tightbore he installed, was either going up or going down, and even the straightest I got them weren't that impressive. Impressive is the trigger response, the real Armalite action, the fast rate of fire. Aside from that I'm in no hurry to spend $2000 on an Armalite when my MP5s can out perform what I've shot. In Systema's defence though, they have designed one hell of a system for close in use, for training, and Apoc hasn't a clue how to set his guns up properly anyways.
Stalker, I hear you work on all Apoc's guns. So, just an FYI when you work on the hop-up (like installing a new barrel for example). No silicone lube. None at all, ever. When you install the barrel, and must assemble the huop-up, use Systema cylinder grease, and only very sparingly. A little on the adjuster cushions, and a little on the barrel and rubber sleeve to aid in insertion. Never anything on the adjuster at all. You must also not over-lube the nozzle o-ring, to avoid grease contamination to the adjuster.

Clean the barrel if needed, yes, but no lube. I use Metal Tech 0.25 and I can tell you with the M150 I can hit a man-sized target at 300 feet+. With a tail wind and shooting from a tower, I've had shots go out past 600 feet (paced off). No accuracy, but at 600 feet, you can't expect any from any gun.

The reason a PTW gets the range it does is due to the hop-up. If you lube it, your totally remove the backspin function, and range and accuracy really suffer. I made the mistake of following Systema's recommeded lube at 3000 rounds, and then I had to tear down the hop-up to get rid of it after. I believe I posted this up in the PTW FAQ thread as well.

I out range and out precision AEG's and even BA's... maybe he has a bad hop up... using BB Bastards and Airsoft Elites (work better but hard to get).

I actually stopped working on his guns, he used to pay but became cheap (insists on free) and demanding (lol) so I really only work on his M249 now (just because I did a major custom rewire), and after this fix up, I won't be doing much of anything with his anymore. So I didn't do anything but try out his PTWs (he just got them, an M16 and an M4), he installed the tightbores, etc. Is good info to point out though, thanks, am sure I'll be getting a couple PTWs to work on in the future. Largely I work on local guns, and cover a small chunk of Quebec as well.
