Attaching a Mount Plaet to a Ca SLR-105

Is it difficult? Can it be done? Any input would be great. BTW its a regular 105 not the steel version.

*edit* Yes i realize that I spelled plate wrong in the title.

A rail for a POSP scope?

Yea it can be done. Just have to remove your body and through bolt/rivet it on.

i got a rail for my Spetz that just makes a large C and the rail is behind the fore grip and in front of the mag. It attaches through the 2 screws on the bottom and a third through the rear sight block.

an easier way might be to rivet through the battery cover on top.(buy a cheap TM one for the smoothness)

Im gonna take apart the body and see how much room i have to work with inside then make a decision based on that. I could settle for a rail like your's voodoo, but would really prefer to be able to mount something like a PK-A red dot onto the gun.

You can mount real steel side rails on.
I've done that to a number of metal bodies. If you have access to a tap and die use that along with some short bolts to mount the plate. As an added measure some epoxy behind the plate will help out a bit.
Just be aware of how much the bolts stick into the body and trim/grind down as necessary to fit.
Don't forget the locktite and your good to go.

Heres a guide for real steel that works pretty accuratly for airsoft

Thanks gish. The guide is good info. I now have a G&G mounting plate on the way. With any luck I will have it installed in a couple of weeks.
