Ok. I'm gonna guess two weeks before some company makes a RIS kit for the T89
In other news: Weren't the new T89's supposed to ship with the Left hand side selector switch? I saw a picture, but it seems it's also an 'accessory'.

I think this is really cool, and probably the first really new and different TM model to come out in a long time (new mechbox with 3RB, metal receiver + one piece barrel, new mag design that fires out all its BBs [at long last], and it's actually a new gun, not just a variant or rehash of an old one).
Clearly TM is feeling the heat from the competition, now, and had to up their game to keep up. The battery size seems like a non-issue. Sure, Large packs hold up better, especially in upgraded guns, but the way some people are going on about it you'd think everyone's running a LSW. Hopefully the technology works well, and we can look forward to a new generation of metal MP5s with proper S/3/F trigger groups. Maybe an M16A4 for the the USMC fans.

This is a really cool gun and all. The cool look, the metal reciever, the bipod, and much more. But the thing i don't get is why people are so hyped up for the 3 round burst. Like ooooo its cool and all with the new mechbox and stuff but like seriously i usually hold down my trigger and let go right away when it shoots 3 rounds. Really, just hold ur trigger for like 2 seconds, its not much harder then blending a smoothie. You just hold the button and let go once its done...

Yet they still make real steel guns with burst. Go figure.
Why even bother with semi, just use full auto all the time. |

the reason we more seasoned airsofters are shitting are pants is because its 3 fucking round burst the sig 550 and 551 had a brust chip but it was famous for crapping due to over use. but another reason is its more realistic towards the real guns the M16A1, A2, A3 and A4 dont have full auto anymore they use brust, MP5's have a semi, burst and full auto settings. plus 3 round burst lets you shot out a nice close group of bullets and helps you conserve ammo so you tell me why its not that important and if anyone else to add or correct me on plz do.
