Which one-TM .50, or KWC .50?
First off, I'd just like to say that while this is my first post on this forum-I have been reading threads on this fine website for quite a while and I have seen a lot of very intelligent, and experienced airsofters in discussion, and I hope you'll let me pick your brains.
I know that Desert Eagle .50 is a Monster, and I have taken into account the need for an extra large holster, the weight, bulkiness, delayed draw time, ect. So there is no need to bring this up. I just want to know why you would select one over the other(The Tokyo Marui Desert Eagle HK .50AE, or KWC's Co2 Desert Eagle .50AE). Factors on my mind: I know that most people prefer the use of propane as a bbg gas, and I know the reasons why-I also know that the KWC can be fitted with a propane clip. I know that the TM has a plastic slide, where as the KWC has a metal slide. I know that the KWC Has the ability to go full auto-and also that its is not all that useful. I know that the KWC has a higher velocity due to the fact that its co2. I have read glowing reviews on both guns, and while there is an abundance of video clips of the TM version available on youtube, I was only able to find a couple of the KWC. I am currently leaning towards the KWC mostly due to the metal slide, which is somewhere in the range of a 100-200 dollar upgrade for the TM. Is there really any reason that the TM is better than the KWC-after searching the net for days, reading reviews and threads and watching videos, I haven't found any. To people that have actually used both, Which kicks harder? Does one slide have a longer travel than the other? Thanks in advance for any info or advice! |

Most stock TM guns can run propane fine but extended use will lead to slide cracking--Thus it is recommended that you upgrade to a metal slide. -VM |

Maybe yall should go back and read the post, I am asking which one would you pick, and why.
And to Vipa-Mave, no disrespect intended, but that review isn't even for the KWC that I am referring to. In it the reviewer states that the gun has the following trademarks: ("model eagle.50ae pistol", underneath that it says "kien well industrie co.. ltd (KWC)". The grip also has a KWC logo and not the real logo like on TM version) Where as the version I listed-had you bothered to read the post, and find a review that actually pertained to it-has the following trademarks: Left side of slide- DESERT EAGLE .50AE PISTOL ISRAEL MILITARY INDUSTRIES LTD. (I.M.I.) Right side of slide- MAGNUM RESEARCH. INC. MINNEAPOLIS, MN USA (EDIT: It also has the IMI logo on the grips, and larger round capacity magazine) (Edit 2: The Black model has a rubberized houge-type grip and does not have any logos on the grip-*Only the silver, and the black with silver slide models had the IMI logo's as they had the standard DE grips in the handle.) Thanks for the effort though. Last edited by Drunk-Munk; January 20th, 2008 at 20:53.. |

ya if you want their help, i wouldn't recommend sounding so arrogant. perhaps i am just misinterpreting your post. after all, it is typed, but that is the vibe im getting. just make a repost politely asking for other opinions, and you will get them. buy posting with that tone, you leave yourself open for a shit storm. but that is just my 2 cents. im passive by nature, so i just take what it thrown at me and try to move forward amicably.

-high quality -tight quality control (less chance of getting a lemon) -plastic slide will not break from prolonged propane use (personal experience + vouched for by many users) -metal slide not neccessary because the gun is heavy enough IMO -accuracy and range (+1 for the TM hop-up) -realistic trademarks -easy to take down (compared to KWC .50) -reliability -IMO i'd get the chrome version (whcih KWC doesn't have) http://www.nlairsoft.com/reviews.php?article=tmd |

My last post was simply expressing that no one had apparently read the post. *If you are not going to take the time to Actually read the post-Then why put in the time answering it? If you haven't read the post you don't know what I am asking and there fore, your answer will probably not be what I am looking for, and quite simply put its a waste of YOUR time typing up the response. I did not ask you to Google me reviews-you stepped up and did that on your own, As I previously stated I mean no disrespect, I just wish to point out that you might as well be answering someone else’s post as your not answering mine-and at that point no one was. I humbly thank BBS For providing what I was asking for, I.e.-Reasons why you would purchase one over the other. The only applicable response to my original post so far. To further question BBS, from what I have seen of the Trade marks on the KWC they are better, or am I mistaken in this? Here is a link that take’s you to a decent pic of the unit in question: http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwol...l?prodID=14885 As far as I know the stamping on the slide is more accurate than the TM which has the Made in Japan and a few other non true stamps. Or did you just mean that the stamping looks better on the TM? By the way you can(or maybe this doesn’t apply anymore and should read 'Could') get it in a chrome/silver version or a version which just has the chrome slide-like the one Bullet Tooth Tony used in SNATCH. I personally prefer the all Black color and would be getting that on the TM or the KWC. Although some have said that they think there is a chance that the chrome model is a bit stronger-if I remember the person believed that the chroming process would not allow for the metal dust to be impregnated in the plastic. Who knows for sure?, probably only the manufacturer ….. |

If you're so interested in trades and realism get the TM.
You're never going to find a full auto dessert beagle. |

It's a name that's equal in ridiculousness as the gun it is meant for.
