Would you recommend a JG G36c ?

Hi ,

I was thinking in the future of getting a TM G36 as my next AEG
after doing some research i found out the people on forums talking good thing about Jing Gong airsoft in general and saw they had a G36

Since the price is way cheaper than a TM would it be a good choice ?
i never opened a mechbox or did repair on a AEG so i dont want
to have to repair it after a month of use because something broke inside


How is the quality of the JG guns in general ?

if you want quality and perfection, get the TM.

if you want a decent beginner's gun, focused more on performance than quality, get the JG.

Either one shouldn't dissapoint.

in the long run and for better peace of mind, TM would be the best choice. while JG is good for what you get, you have a higher chance of getting a defective product out of the box as well as long term reliability issues that are just not present in the bulk of TM guns.

Therein lies the problem with it lol
I've serviced one before, it's not fun or easy to take apart, and the gearbox is over-greased. TM is the way to go for a cheap reliable gun.

Dont know about the 36 but i have a m4.... Great, but open the box and shim it(mine only had 1 shim in it period....) and put new grease in it... Also before you shoot it check there isnt chunks of bb's in it, im serious...

JG guns, in my personal experience (I had an M733 and an M4 S-system), are generally very good, considering the price that I paid.

They have their downsides, such as low exterior quality, and few mechanical issues including disfunctional selector switch (not all JG guns have the same problem). However, these can easily be fixed by spray-painting the gun and replacing the problematic parts.

I would highly recommend JG guns, if you do not wish to spend a lot of money and just want a gun to play a game. If you want a gun that can give you a consistent and decent performance, with high-quality internals and externals, then I would suggest you to purchase at least a TM or CA gun, or a G&G or G&P gun if you have the budget (I have a G&P M4 and I love it very much).

Yeah, sure. If you're into unrealistic finishes.

If it's ''perfection'' you're after, get a STAR. Best body, best gearbox, and sounds alot healthier than the TM.

JG G36C makes an excellent upgrade platform...

most people arn't going to bother with stock internals anyways.

Save up for a TM, Buy a JG G36C, Spend the left over money on upgrades.

Congratulations, You've got a completely upgraded gun.

I'm making a very expensive custom tuner gun.. and I've only dumped about 270 dollars into it, With the money you'll save buying a JG over a TM You'll be able to have a mean little machine.

i don't know what you are trying to get at but i think many will agree that TM has pretty realistic finishes. (full trades, 1:1 scale, top notch materials and finishing, excellent QC, R&D money well spent)
Star makes realistic guns too if thats your preference.

IMHO TM has perfected their AEGs with all the R&D & QC they put it. The result is a gun that is an excellent & reliable beginner's gun and if you don't tamper with the internals the gun will still function perfectly, with little to no maintainence. It also makes a great base gun to mod from. More people stay away from TM now because its more expensive and its underpowered compared to their competition. correct me if i'm wrong, but the Japanese government restricts the power of airsoft guns to around 280 fps. You dont need a heck lot of fps to have fun (sometimes high fps might turn off many players), its the quality that matters, not quantity.

this is not proven yet, but perhaps in the long run, the TM AEG will be cheaper to own compared to JG and other clones.

Yeah I would also recomend doing that. Tm was worth the extra money a couple of years ago but not anymore in my opinion.
