Dude, seriously you really need to calm down. You have worked yourself up about nothing. Kokanee was kind enough to provide what you were looking for in the first reply to this thread. I think you have taken his comments way out of context. Once you been around for a while you might come to realize that simple questions like yours are asked almost on an hourly basis. There is no possible way that we could stop and answer the same question over and over again. At some point people need to take responsibility and try and find the answers themselves.

Did any of the several links provided help you? If so, perhaps you could acknowledge the aid. You started by saying you needed to take off a crane stock then wanted a step-by-step guide to disassembling an M4. Is someone supposed to type all that out for you or point you towards where it's already been done? And with pictures yet.

here's what I got from altavista first page using the word dismantle,instead
