eagle pc advice

well i just got my eagle plate carrier w/ cb. i am going for a fast attack/ recon style load out, so i downsized from the ciras to the pc. i dont know if i like it, it is smaller (obviously) and not as bulky, but due to its size, i have limited realestate. i cant figure out how and what ways to arrange my gear. i plan on 6 mags (2 double and 2 single) but aside from that i cant figure out how i want em and what im missing. any advice? also if anyones got pc pics or load out pics they could share for some inspiration.

Besides the 6 magazines, is there anything else you want to carry?

Swatt13-

While the thread I'm linking to is kind of old, it's has some good pictures of a CIRAS (Land) with pouches on it that could be slimmed down for the PC. The owner of the CIRAS pictured mentions keeping your magazine pouches predominantly on the weak-hand side (Left side if your right-handed, and vice-versa), so that you can easily access them.

http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums...ad.php?t=52303

I would suggest getting a MOLLE hydration carrier if you don't have one; I prefer TAG as you get the bladder with the carrier for $45 down here in the states, and its good quality stuff. You could put a GP/Utility pouch on your left side to balance out the magazine pouches on your right if you want asymmetry and also as a way to carry a bag or two of bbs (don’t know if you use Med-caps or Hi-caps), along with maybe . If you have the need or want of an admin pouch, I’ve used Eagle’s and TAG’s on my old weesatch and I liked both of them.

Cheers,
Vic.

If you want to go light but still carry some armor, a plate carrier with some kind of webbing overit will do the trick.

All your pouches will be on your belt and back, so it's easy to manuver and lay prone. Since there is no pouches on the chest, it's confortable to crawl. The plates will inder movements a bit, but it's the compromise.

I'd show you a picture of my setup, but I don't have any since I rarely use it. (I play sniper or full assault normaly).

The 6 systema mags are going to weigh a lot so I would plan around that.

PTW mags really aren't that heavy once you've played with them for a little while. I carry eight centred up front in two rows of four on a rhodesian recon vest and have found it to be quite comfortable except when crawling.

If you want a fast-attack-type setup, go to triple mag shingle. Lose everything else. No pistol, pistol mags, no accessories of any kind. Keep your extra cylinders/batteries/reload equipment/radio in pouches on the back of your blast belt.

And either install fake plates to make this thing fit as it should, or spend the $$$ to get real plates.

While doing my now routine reading of pic threads on Arnies, I found some pics of the Eagle PC/WC.

These are just pics of airsofters with their PC/WC. I will look through my RS pics I know I have some with rangers wearing ranger green ones.

^ thats pretty much how mine is set up.

3x double m4 up front, 2x pistol to the left, 1st aid on the back and another (used for misc) under my right arm.

I"ll be swapping the double m4's for single shingles, recon-style backpack on the back and holster on the chest this winter

sorry i never stated that. its a multicam pc w/ cb.
i WISH i had bought shingles, i hated tham at first, now im kicking myself, theyer an awesome system. ive got all hsgi pouches.

ive got 6 double mag pouches, i dont usually like double stacking my mags, but maybe i might learn to and cut it back to 3 in the middle like pic 2 od spades post. however i have 9 systema mags atm and i plan on half loading them to around 60 rounds to meet local regs. i also like pic 6 of aces post. still working on the pics im just waiting for my shirt to dry... dont ask. im planning my load out with keystone in mind i plan on being sog/ recon again, i was too hot at 2.5 with my iba, and too bulky at 3 with my ciras, but i do it too myself as i like to be self sufficient and carry everything id need on me... force recon style. so thats my catch 22.
