If you do want it painted Ken, let me know, I can take it to my shop and give a gooder.

My suggestion would be to leave the lower receiver naked and paint the upper and forward bits.

Okay, so related question about the engraver; where would you get that done? I take it it would require some kind of CNC engraving? There's a lot of small text, I have a hard time imagining some dude doing it by hand and it not coming out looking like it was written in crayon by a 6 year old...

GOT IT!! thanks to "jumpin" from b.c.a.c. for having this information available. i copy pasted the info.

( as quoted by "jumpin" )

To all those who enquired where I got my lower receiver engraved with Diemaco C8 markings and my own custom serial number, and my Pelican case foam cut for my equipment:

The place is Insigno Engraving in Surrey: 106-19331 Enterprise Way
Surrey, (604) 532-1108, 1 (866) 526-1108, sales@insigno.ca. I am pretty sure the guy's name is James. He was super-nice, really interested in airsoft, and totally committed to doing a quality job! Mention the job he did for me and he will probably be able to pull the template files we made for cutting the foam off the computer.

Oooh, I see the type of engraving place that is (they have a website, www.insigno.ca) -- awards, promo products, etc.

Should be able to locate someone locally... thanks Six4

There's a place here in town that does laser engraveing, but other than haveing some stickets made (white writeing on clear background) I'm not sure what yu would do. Where would one get some laser etching done?
