Tokyo & Jon, I thought I had an original idea but alas...

I shall say it for the sake of myself;

SOLD, PLEASE DELETE.

Because these people assume that the mods go through every single thread and post of the board, which we don't.

If you want a mod's attention to a post, USE THE REPORT A POST FUNCTION!

On the left hand side of the post, under the name, join date, location, post count, there is a white triangle with a red exclamation mark. CLICK IT!

That function isn't just used for tattle-taling... it's also for getting system-level change requests performed on a post or thread

When you report the post, HELP US OUT by stating in the "reason for reporting post" comment box by simply saying "sale is complete. Please delete."

If it's a rule infraction, state the reason, i.e. "poster is posting derogatory names" or "abusive post", etc.

As well, with the new upgrades to VB, users who started the threads can't change the title of the threads. So that means mods will actually have to click on the actual thread to read the contents inside.

Any word on the progress of switching over to IP Board?

I agree that this is pointless! And quite frankly, it REALLY pisses me off when people do it! I get SO pissed when I've got something up for sale and all the sudden it's getting bumped further down the list because 3 people just posted a new reply to their own thread saying, "Sold, please delete" That's friggen great! STOP POSTING SO I CAN SELL MINE AND DELETE IT! I REALLY hate it when people do that. HUGE pet peeve of mine

It wasn't that people post to say it's sold. I'm fine with that, actually I like it sometimes because I know things are sold and I don't have to look for them to see that they're sold if I was interested.

Anyways, THE POINT IS:

Posting "sold, please delete" is useless. There's a good chance that your thread won't get deleted at all and will only get pushed to the top for no good reason.

If you want it deleted, REPORT THE POST. Then you can say "Sold. Please Delete" in the comments box all you want.
