New switch assembly doesnt fit..

I got my new switch assembly today, and it doesnt fit very well. if i close it all the way, the trigger part doesn't return, and it stays in the firing position. i cant figure out which part is being compressed.. any ideas?

Are you putting it in a Guarder gearbox?

I actually had this same problem fitting an SRC switch assembly in to a Guarder gearbox. On the half of the gearbox that closes down on everything, there's a nub of metal that sticks out to press down against the switch assembly. I had to grind that down by about 2 mm to get the switch to work right.
