Thanks but I can't see what's happening in there. Is it changing the volume of the space behind the nozzle? The place where the gas flows?
How is it adjusted?

It is literally a thumbscrew that changes the diameter of the rear of the nozzle. Restricting gas flow thru the nozzle. Once FPS limits are reached, lock in place with setscrew.

Having trouble figuring out how it would change the diameter of the opening and still maintain a seal. Hmmm. Like a hose clamp?

Whole nozzle is a fixed diameter. Thumbscrew restricts flow. I haven't taken the thing apart.Sorry about the lack of clear pics.

It's not the diameter that's changed. It's just a bolt that moves in and out. It moves closer/away from the end of the nozzle. The closer the end of the bolt moves towards the nozzle, the more the gas is restricted in to the nozzle.

I'm not home all weekend, but if I remember to do it when I get home, I'll take some video of it.
