PDI G3 high grade chamber block and almni barrel
Hello,
I figured that since i couldn't find much on these before I bought them, writing a small review could at least one person. This thread is about the: PDI High grade (HG) chamber block for the G3 SG/1 PDI Almi Barrel for the G3 There are at least three blocks between the G3 series. another one might be better for some people. This one would seem to be the most effective and once installed my G3 did feel like a baseball bat. I recently purchased these two items to strengthen my G3. The chamber block come in two finished. Polished and black powder coated. The almi barrel is sold separately but is intended to be used with the block. http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwol...l?prodID=18357 http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwol...l?prodID=18488 Warning!!! these parts required modifications to themselves and my CA metal body. Not for the squeamish! Now that the parts are in the barrel cannot wobble and the block itself is secure enough to free-float. That might be an interesting mod for the future. They do add some weight but w/o out my battery the gun feels more balanced than normal. I believe these parts were intended for the TM G3. Mine is sort of a Frankenstein, but when I first bought these I had the plastic body. The body of the TM G3 is horrible. It creaks and can bend a little. This would be an awesome upgrade for a TM G3 owner if the modifications were not required. Even in the case of a TM, mods would be necessary. I would imagine that this would eliminate almost all of the negative things said about the TM G3's body. |
