TM M14 Trigger Guard Problem
Hey guys,
A while ago i took apart me M14 to put a bipod adapter in it. When I put everything back together the trigger guard will not lock into place. It goes all the way in but wont lock in place. I'm not sure if it's a part missing or what as it does not appear anything is missing. So for now it's zip tied into place until I can get this figgered out. Any help would be greatly appreciated |

That metal is fairly malleable.
Bend it back in to shape by lengthening the trigger guard. ie, the part that clips in to the stock... pull it out a bit. In natural state, it should sit outside of the hole, requiring a bit of force to bend it in far enough to push back in to the stock. Hope that made sense. |

yep, it actually hooks onto a fairly solid looking hook thing on the motor bracket. i can't see it ever breaking.
