Star L85 A2?

I'm seriously thinking about getting this as my first gun and i really want to make sure that i am getting a great gun out of the box for $975. I've read all the reviews i can find and im just looking for anyone who could add some comments to this particular model, good or bad...just looking to do my research cause its a huge price tag. Thanks

I have researched the G&G model and a lot of reviews that ive read have had some kind of problem with the gun, durability, breakdowns, performance, etc. the Star has had the best rating and the best reviews thus far.

I owned one, just traded it away for a Tanaka AICS. Hands down the nicest gun I've ever owned. Awesome rate of fire on a large 8.4 volt pack at 380 fps out of the box, and an m-16 length inner barrel gives you great groupings at longer range. I loved that gun so much I'm going to end up spending ANOTHER grand to get one down the line....

Worth every penny. You won't be disappointed.

Also grab the SUSAT if you have the cash. Worth every penny, as I too will be now paying out the nose to aquire this fine peice of airsoft engineering.

ya bullpup, its every airsofters journey to find "the gun" for them, and i finally found it in the l85. read mine and skrus reviews (above link) and if you jave any further questions or need any clarification feel free to pm me. you wont be dissapointed wit hthis rifle.
